WE LOVE KIDS!

OUR VISION
Equipping our Kids to Know Jesus and Live On Mission

For Kids on Sunday Mornings

We believe all children should spend time in worship with their families prior to being dismissed to their breakout class environments, where they are invited to participate in age-appropriate activities with our KidSafe volunteers. If you are new to Valley Simsbury or just visiting, please make sure to stop by our First Time/Welcome Table. Everyone is welcome to participate, but as part of our security measures, a parent or guardian must register their child before attending a breakout session.

Valley Simsbury offers a Nursery environment for babies to toddlers up to age 2. In the Nursery, children engage in the Bible through ways that are appropriate for their development level. They’ll experience songs, stories, and sensory play, all based in Scripture.

The Nursery is available 10 minutes before the start of service so parents can transition their child before joining Worship.

Our preschool class is for kids age 3-4. In this class, they’ll spend time engaging in an age-appropriate lesson that walks them through the Bible one story at a time. They’ll participate in learning by watching, singing, and playing in different activities that all tie in to the Scripture of that week’s lesson, along with making a craft to take home.

When Kids Dismissal slide appears on the screens, kids will be dismissed from the Auditorium to the front lobby, where they will meet their teachers.

If your child chooses to stay with you during the service: For everyone’s safety, please make sure your child remains with you and is not unsupervised in the hallways.

We have two classes for elementary-aged children. We break those classes into Grades K-2 and Grades 3-5. In these classes, kids will be invited to participate in learning through reading Scriptures and learning to navigate the Bible. There will be a video of that week's Bible story, games and activities that tie in and reinforce the lesson, along with peer discussions about what they’re learning and how it relates to their lives!

Valley Kids Clubs

Boys and Girls Grades 1-4

Separate clubs for boys and girls are held most Tuesdays at our Valley Avon location (590 W. Avon Road) starting September 12, from 6:15-7:45 p.m. through May 14.  Clubs are designed to be a fun outreach where your kids are encouraged to bring their friends. At Valley Kids Clubs meetings, boys and girls may sing, participate in fun lessons, memorize Scripture, create crafts, hear from interesting speakers, and participate in serving opportunities. All the while, kids will be forming relationships with other kids their age and with godly men and women who serve as role models. It is our hope to see this club facilitate growth in each child's heart to love God and others more each day. The fee to join Kids Clubs is only $45 per year. Click the link below to register today!
