Mark Woof | Valley Simsbury Pastor
Mark has been active in full-time ministry for 17 years, serving the first 14 in student ministry. He believes church is people more than place — a spiritual family more than a weekend event. He’s married to Janet and they have four awesome kids – Hailey, Hannah, Hunter, and Harper.
Mark loves to gather together and grow with other dads, coach high school football (go Trojans!), ski and tube with his kids, and serve our community with his wife. His most crazy memories are driving in demolition derby and getting 200 stitches after smashing through a glass door.
When all is said and done, he hopes he’ll be remembered as a down-to-earth guy — someone who followed hard after Jesus, led many to become disciples, and attained status as a superstar husband and all-star dad.
Benji Wagner | Communications Assistant
Benji moved here from France about three years ago. He joined Valley Simsbury on staff in September of 2017. In charge of everything visual at VS, Benji has a heart to communicate the Gospel in a creative and relevant way. He’s passionate about good coffee, the arts and travel.
Elena has been attending Valley for five years, having served on the worship team and in children’s ministry. She is a recent high school graduate pursuing full time ministry, life on mission, and she is passionate about sharing the gospel in unreached places. To prepare for her ministry calling, Elena is serving as an intern with Valley Simsbury.
Elena loves spending time outdoors, traveling, and gathering with friends and family for times of fellowship. She is excited to strengthen her spiritual gifts and to see the Spirit of God at work in the lives of others through discipleship and fellowship.
